So we have now learned our first blogging lesson; do not plan on making a blog if you plan on having more than two glasses of wine… three nights in a row.

How do I plan on making this a habit for me? That is a hard question because I am not sure yet what type of schedule I plan to have for blogging. Maybe weekly? We will see. I think that weekly would work well, my weeks tend to be pretty eventful enough to always have things to talk about. For example, tonight I have a work event to say goodbye to all our summer staff - very excited.

This weekend I spent some much needed time with my friends. I have not discussed with my friends if they are comfortable with me revealing their names on my blog, considering this is my second post, I will refrain from doing so. Friday night I had drinks at one of the newer bars in our area, Cause and Effect. I paid $11 for a drink that took me not even 3 minutes to drink, I soon switched over to a lovely glass of Pinot - my favourite - because I realized that the first drink was a little excessive. On Saturday another friend and I went to the mall so I could return some things… and switch them out for some panties and a new pair of jeans. From the mall we went to a sunflower field, where all the sunflowers were mostly dead. The fun part about this was that they also had a mini petting farm with some GOATS and also some two week old little piglets. So sweet. It was pretty hot out on Saturday but we also went out to Shoeless Joe’s for an evening reservation for one of our friends’ birthdays, we had an overall pretty good time, and one of our friends even made this delicious and gorgeous cake!

Sunday was spent cleaning. All, damn, day. Although that sounds like a complaint, I very much enjoy getting time to myself to watch and listen to what I want. Just a little check in for now, will keep you all posted on that work party!
